Jennifer Spungin is the administrative assistant for the MIT Morningside Academy for Design. Born and raised in Upstate New York she has now spent more than half her life in Massachusetts. Arriving in Boston after college, she completed a Masters of Arts in Teaching from Tufts University and was hired by Boston Public Schools to create and implement a dropout prevention program for at-risk teens.

As the co-founder of the Marblehead School of Music, she has been instrumental in helping hundreds of music students pursue their musical passions.

Her proudest accomplishment is raising three amazing young women and she enjoys cooking, gardening, traveling and boxing.
