Applications for the 8th cohort of MITdesignX are now open!

MITdesignX is a venture accelerator for students, faculty and research staff at MIT. They support teams as they develop innovative solutions to improve design, cities and the global environment.

In the past seven years, over 70 teams took part in MITdesignX, launching dozens of businesses and organizations, and making an incredible impact around the world.

Program

Two classes (IAP bootcamp Jan 22-Feb 1 and Spring F 9-1) powered by MITdesignX's venture design curriculum.
Mentorship.
$10,000 team grant.
Workspace.
Resources and network connections to transform ideas into action.

Timeline

Ten teams will be chosen for the 2024 cohort through a two-stage selection process, including a finalist open-pitch on December 1, 2023.

Applications are due November 1, 2023.
